As a team at 55BirchStreet, it is important to us to grow organically, healthily and sustainably. Each other Birchie shapes our entire organization with their individuality. In doing so, just like all of us, you are helping to shape our culture, working methods, business models and ultimately vision. That is why we are selective.

We do not only evaluate a CV based on grades, master's degree or impressive references. Because the most important question that we want to answer together with you during the application process is:

Do we fit together?

In order to be able to determine this, we want authenticity and “wholeness.” With us, you don't have to pretend. You can't impress us with heroic stories, memorized models, or fictitious pen sales. We are more interested in a joint dialogue to learn something about your character, interests and ambitions. Don't be surprised if the conversation takes longer than planned — that's a good sign and shows that it was a pleasant conversation for both parties. Because we also talk a lot about ourselves and don't want to ask you questions, but find out whether you share our “Birchie DNA” and can identify with it.

There are usually three conversations with us, during which you will get to know very different team members. If your gut instinct screams “I belong here” and you had a great time talking, chances are good! It is very important that you take time after your discussions to reflect on what kind of working environment you need to be really good. Don't chase after the mere promise, but question critically! Because not every team is going to be your perfect match.

If everything fits on both sides, it's really quick afterwards.

What can you do beforehand to prepare yourself if there is no classic case study or typical cliché questions?

  • Dynamism and desire for project-based work
  • Sovereignty in dealing with (project management) methods and tools
  • Creativity, own ideas and proactivity
  • Independent work, personal responsibility and willingness to make decisions
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and flexibility in terms of work and time
  • Safe, friendly appearance
  • Empathy & EQ when dealing with yourself and others
  • Humorous and interesting personality
  • Cultural Fit with the Team & “Birchie Mentality”

We have a lot to offer and far-reaching ambitions, but be aware that there are also some things that are not included. We have Creativity before processes, which means that internal and project-related progress requires our creativity and structures grow with the team. Everyone thinks along, just completing assigned tasks is not the order of the day. 9-to-5 without interesting internal projects? Not with us. Big Four lifestyle and way of working? No, thank you!

We're different and you have to like that!

We're serious about it, but we're having fun at work. That is why, in addition to the willingness to participate, the urge to start your own initiatives is required from day 1. Feel free to bring along your interests and skills and Just be yourself!

We're looking forward to seeing you!
